The Flying History Gallery features:

Limited Editions of new photographs created by Dan Patterson

Archivally printed and specifically designed for this website, these new images are the result of the work done for this project. These photographs are one-of-a-kind. The opportunities opened up by this project have made possible these new photographic studies of the icons of aviation history. Where noted a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of these editions go to support organizations which preserve or further the study of aviation.

New editions will be added frequently, so check back often.

High quality aviation art

The creation of unique and often limited edition pieces of artwork which celebrate flight. Our goal is to create aviation art for the walls as well as three dimensional pieces. Hand blown glass vessels, custom etched with evocative and specially drawn images of flying history. Also custom designed and created jewelry which allows aviation art to be personally worn and displayed.

Aviation Apparel

Flying History has created and produced a line of wearables and accessories which also celebrate flight. We can create for corporate and retail clients custom orders, for mutually determined minimum quantities, additional and unique wearables and accessories. Our design and production in house capacity allows us to be very flexible and cost efficient.

Exhibitions

The high quality photographs from this project are expressly appropriate for large exhibitions for museums and galleries. Previous exhibits have included very large framed images which approach life-size of the original subject. These dramatic images create an environmental viewing experience. Check our calendar for upcoming exhibitions.

"Our goal at the outset was to make new color images of the icons of aviation. The famous which reside in the great museums of the world, but also the hidden treasures which are found in the smaller and off the beaten path collections. Some of these subjects have been unavailable to be photographed for decades."
